Green energy is the current trend of this century and India is gearing up to be a fully developed country and has taken a major step through Indian Nuclear Energy programme. In view of this, to encourage young, motivated and bright mind of the country, Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) is conducting a outreach programme for its recruitment through one-year Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Post-Graduates (OCES), a Training Programme, run by the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Training Schools at Mumbai, Kalpakkam, Indore and Hyderabad, with a post graduate degree in different Science disciplines (Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences), to pursue a career in frontline areas of basic science and technology in various units of DAE.
Department of Physics, Tezpur University is hosting the programme on 19th January 2018 in the CV RAMAN SEMINAR HALL at 10:30 am. Final year Engineering graduate and Post-graduate students of various departments of the university are hereby requested to attend the presentation to be made by two prominent senior scientists from DAE. They will interact with the students regarding various possibilities in DAE.
