The PReMI 2019 Doctoral Symposium will be held at Tezpur University, Tezpur, India, on Dec 17, 2019- the first day of PReMI 2019. It will be a forum for PhD students to showcase their research works in different topics of PReMI 2019. The presenters will benefit from lively discussions and critical feedback on their work. We, hereby, request PhD advisors to nominate their PhD students who are close to graduation to submit abstracts to this doctoral symposium.

Doctoral Symposium
- Each oral presentations will be of 20 minutes duration; 15 minutes for presentation followed by 5 minutes for Q/A or discussion.
- Please make sure that you have submitted your presentation slides in PowerPoint or PDF formats before the start of your session to the volunteer who will be present on that day in the presentation room at least 15 minutes before the start of the session.
- You can also bring it earlier, during the coffee/lunch breaks of any day before your presentation. A volunteer will be at your disposal to help you upload it in the right place in order to find it easily at the time of presentation.
- A laptop/desktop computer and LCD projector will be available in all presentation rooms. The projector will be standard resolution with a VGA connection. Speakers are not allowed to use their own laptops, avoiding useless time breaks in between papers.
- In order to avoid any compatibility problems, read carefully the instructions below.
A. POWERPOINT INSTRUCTIONS: We recommend the PPT/PPTX/PDF format and all videos or animations in the presentation must run without Internet connectivity.
B. PICTURES/VIDEOS: We cannot provide support for embedded videos in your presentation.
C. FONTS: Only fonts that are included in the basic installation of MS-Windows will be available (English version of Windows). Use of other fonts not included in Windows can cause wrong layout/style of your presentation.

- The registration form requires the online payment details along with the author's information.
- Registration fee does not include accommodation charges.
- The receipt for the registration fee will be provided to the participants during the conference.
- Note that if the Ph. D. student has accepted paper (s), already registered in his/her name or already completed PReMI 2019 attending registration then he/she does not need to register again for the Doctoral Symposium. He/She may present his/her Ph. D. work in the Doctoral Symposium besides attending ALL other technical sessions of the conference.
