Admission Process of the Under Graduate Courses:
The eligible candidates may apply for admission into different programmes of School of Engineering, Tezpur University through JoSSA. 60% open seats shall be made through the central counselling based on JEE (Main) rank. Candidates seeking admission to B. Tech. Programmes are required to appear in the JEE (Main) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The eligible candidates may apply for admission into different programmes of School of Engineering, Tezpur University online admission form.
ELIGIBILITY:
B.Tech programmes:
Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech Programmes are required to appear in the JEE (Main) to me conducted by National Testing Agency. All admission shall be on JEE (Main) All India Ranking.
60% of available B.Tech seats are reserved for the permanent of north-East States (NE-State). Candidates who fill up Tezpur University application form shall be considered for the reserved seats. The applicants desiring a seat under NE quota must attach a PRC (permanent residence certificate) along with the form. However, these applicants shall be eligible to get admitted to the open seats through central counselling procedure.
Admission to the remaining 40% open seats shall be made through the central counselling based on JEE (Main).
Important Points:
For all B.Tech programmes, a candidate needs to apply in a single application form only (online application form).
Candidates who have already finished their qualifying examination, and those who are expected to complete all components of the examination including practical and viva (if any) before the date of admission may also apply (Please read the paragraph on "provisional admission" given hereafter for details).
Please fill in the application form in vegible hand writing without cutting and overwriting (only for maual application).
Submit before last date of application.
The candidate need to fill up the School of Engineering, Tezpur University online admission form (Link will be displaying in our Web site).
