Bachelor degree with atleast 45% of mark in Honours subject or any graduate with altleast 45% of marks. The candidate from the university which do not offer major should have atleast 50% of marks in aggregate.

Candidate have to appear for entrance examination (TUEE), which generally contains : (a) Basic Sociological Theory, and (b) Undestanding of the various Socio-economic issues.
