Brief biodata

Following his Ph.D. from SSCU, IISc, Bangalore, Dr. Shyamal Kr. Das was a post-doctoral fellow at Cornell Univerisy, US. He had done his masters in Physics from IIT, Guwahati. His research interest involve in the arena of Material science and engineering empasising on energy hervesting. He has been a faculty member of the department of physics since 2013.

Research

The primary focus is to develop and design of materials for energy storage and generation devices such as metal-ion and metal-oxygen batteries, ultrscapacitors etc.
