    Brief biodata

Following his Ph.D. degree from Material Research Center, IISc, Bangalore, he had worked as Postdoctoral fellow under Prof. G. Ananthakrishna. He had obtained his masters in Physics from IIT, Guwahati. His research interest involve Theretical Materials Science and Condensed Matter Physics, in particular systems far from equilibrium and Plasticity theory. He has been a faculty member of the department of physics since 2014.

    Research

Our research is focused understading complex dynamics shown in driven dissipative systems, in particular systems far from equilibrium system. We used non-equilibrium statistical mechanics and nonlinear dynamics as tools for both qualitative and quantitative measures.
