Brief biodata
Prof. Pabitra Nath had obtained his M. Sc in Physics from Tezpur University and Ph.D. degree from Gauhati University in Physics.
His research interest involve Applied photonics and Nanophotonics. He has been a faculty member of the department of physics since 2010.

Our research team is working on diverse areas of Applied photonics and Nanophotonics, in particular, Fiber optic sensors and systems, Smartphone
based platform sensing systems, Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) based sensing
