Abstract
We report results of a comparative study between a traditional and a specifically designed method for teaching-learning the subject of physics at the graduate level. Statistical analysis of both the methods are presented. Interesting results emerge in the modified method, in particular, an increase in the analytical and intuitive nature of learners in solving complex conceptual problems in comparison to the traditional method. A steep rise in the average marks secured in specifically designed question patterns ensures an inclusive development of students critical thinking when the modified method is used.
