About CPDT-MMTTC

The Centre for Professional Development and Training (CPDT), formerly the Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) of Tezpur University, is a UGC-supported centre dedicated to enhancing the professional competence of teachers and academic administrators in Higher Education across India.

The Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) operates under CPDT with a mandate to train faculty through Refresher Courses, Orientation Programmes, Short-Term Courses, and Faculty Development Programmes, aligning with the goals of the National Education Policy 2020.

◆ Self-Financed Programmes

Beyond its mandated programmes under MMTTC, CPDT designs and delivers a range of self-financed training initiatives tailored to evolving needs of academia and professional communities — covering specialised workshops, skill development courses, and interdisciplinary short-term programmes not funded under the regular UGC framework. Conducted on a cost-recovery basis, these programmes draw participants from universities, colleges, research institutions, and industry, fostering a broader culture of continuous professional development beyond the boundaries of the core mandate.
