The Teaching Learning Centre, Tezpur University (TLC, TU) is a Centre of Excellence for Curriculum and Pedagogy under Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT) launched by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. TLC, TU was approved by the MHRD in its 3rd PAB of PMMMNMTT Scheme on September 9, 2015, and it was formally inaugurated on January 28, 2016. In line with the National Policy on Education (NPE) 1986, the PMMMNMTT Scheme made a focused reference to the crucial dependence of quality ensured delivery of education. The PMMMNMTT Scheme is a central government sponsored scheme with all-India coverage. One among the initiatives of PMMMNMTT is setting up of Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) in different Central Universities. Learn more
