Tezpur University has set up a drug counselling centre to create awareness and educate people about the ill effects of alcoholism and substance abuse and provide counseling services. The Social Work department of the University has launched the Centre named Counselling Centre for Preventing Unhealthy Behaviour (CC-PUB) as part of the project “Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyaan: A Step to Build Abstemious Society Through Community Intervention and Promoting Healthy Habits”. a visiting consultant/counsellor is appointed for “Counseling Centre for Preventing Unhealthy Behaviour” (“CC-PUB”) The details of visiting are as follows – Tuesday & Wednesday; 4.00pm to 6.00 pm and Saturday – 10 am to 1.00 pm
