Awards/Achievements:
The students of MA (1st Semester) Social work participated in EKAYAN, the social work meet organized by Dibrugarh University for all social work schools in the North East region during February 14-17, 2020. The students secured the following awards in the event:

• • Street Play competition: First Position
• • Project proposal presentation: Second position

The Department of Social Work participated at the 3rd edition of the regional level Social Work meet ‘EKAYAN’ organized by Dibrigarh University in September 2018. The team consisting of ten members participated in various activities and brought accolades back to the department. The following are the details of the awards received by the team.

• • Street play (BatoBarta): First position
• • Best Actress
• • Debate (Jukti Ban): AdipriyaBaruah secured 2nd Position
• • Project Development (Yuva Mot): secured 2nd position
• • The team of Department of Social Work, Tezpur University also received the Best Team Award.

Nazifa Shaheen was selected as Best Actress in the EKAYAN- Social Workers Meet, Dibrugarh University, September, 2017.

Rajyashree Sharma awarded Research Fellowship Program at Studio Nilima (for scholars from North East)

Indranee Kalita won 1st Prize in on Spot Photography Competition,National Level Unifest, held at Mysore University, 2016

Priyanka Borah won Bronze Medal in Folk/Tribal Dance in the 30th University East Zone Youth Festival held at Ranchi University, Jharkhand.

Priyanka Borah won 1st prize in Bihu Husori competiton, Bordoisila 2015 in Pyrokinesis, Assam Engineering College.
