About US
Established in 2001, the department of Mass Communication & Journalism provides state-of-the-art facilities for the students to produce industry grade quality media content. The Department offers two-year (four semester) MA programmes in
(MA MCJ) with an intake of 37 students (35+2 seats on SSS basis). This programme includes print journalism, television production, advertising and public relations, new media, development communication, communication research methods etc.
(MA C4D) with an intake of 12 students. The department has the state of the art infrastructure and facilities which enables one to have rich learning and hands on experience on the equipment of the media world. Facilities like audio-edit suit, television studio, computer lab with 24 hours net connectivity, radio studio etc. is being provided by the department. Facilities apart, teaching faculty with wide-ranging teaching and learning experience add zest to the whole ambience of the department.
