Dr. Mousumi Mahanta was invited as a guest of honour by the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya,Ketekibari Centre in International Women’s Day celebration organized on 13th March,2022. Dr. Mahanta deliberated on why women’s day is celebrated and on various gender issues and importance of gender sensitization programmes. She talked about women’s current problems. She also focused on the ideology of Lord Krishna on women empowerment and how it can inspire the present generation. She elaborated on the notion of equality in Bhagawat Geeta.
