On 8th March 2019, Dr. Madhurima Goswami, Head, Chandraprabha Saikiani Centre for Women Studies, Tezpur University delivered a talk on “Gender Discrimination” on the occasion of International Women’s Day organized by Tezpur Law College. She acknowledged the various pains and sufferings of women in the society. Women’s day is not a celebration as women have not achieved liberation yet. Dr. Goswami emphasized that society cannot survive where men and women does not stand together.
