Dr.Madhurima Goswami, Head CSCWS,Tezpur University delivered a talk on an awareness programme on Sexual Harassment of Women at Work place: Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Act on 12th May, 2022 at Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology, an Autonomous R &D Institute of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, Guwahati. Dr. Goswami focused on the inherent defects of the redressal mechanism and suggested a training programme for the ICC members, of the institute. A yearly orientation programme for the member of the institute was recommended by the resource person. Dr. Alka Goswami, senior Gynaecologist, Assam, gave a detail idea of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Work place: Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Act 2013. Important queries were raised and were aptly answered by Dr.Goswami.
