This programme is designed to produce a pool of practice-oriented trained manpower with a comprehensive knowledge, exposure and understanding in childhood, child rights, child vulnerability and child protection.

Programme Brief

The programme is designed to enhance the capacity of working professionals and fresh graduates in child rights issues and challenges. It is also intended to build a theoretical understanding of children - their lives and the vulnerabilities they are exposed to in their diverse contextual realities with emphasis on governance, its strength and lacunae in promoting and ensuring child rights and child welfare.

Career Prospects

Successful completion of the programme would enhance the candidates employability in government departments, NGOs, CSR projects and allied fields. Professionals working in the field of child rights and related areas, both in government and non-government settings, would benefit from the programme for their career advancement.
