major places in Assam. Frequent
buses from Guwahati are
available (ASTC, Green Valley,
Blue Hill Services etc.) from
the Inter State Bus Terminus at
Guwahati. Shared cabs also
operate from Paltan Bazar, near
the Guwahati Railway Station.
By Train: Guwahati is
well connected by train with all
major places in India. From
Guwahati it is advisable to come
to Tezpur by Bus.
By Air: Guwahati is
well connected by air with all
major places in India. Guwahati
to Tezpur is a four hour drive.
There is also a direct flight
connectivity to Tezpur from
Kolkata (Thrice in a Week).
