A talk on “Origin of patriarchy” delivered by Sonali Boro, Research Assistant, Chandraprabha Saikiani Centre for Women studies at International Women’s Day Celebration, 8th March 2019 organized by The East in collaboration with Milan Jyoti Nari Marcha and Action Aid Association at Maz Mikir Gaon under Dharamtal Gaon, Morigaon. In her talk she tried to explain how the society evolved into patriarchal nature and its effect on both men and women. More than two hundred women and men participated in the programme.
