DEVELOPMENT/UPGRADING INFRASTRUCTURE IN MEDICAL COLLEGES IN NORTH EASTERN STATES OF INDIA:
PRESENT STATUS:
2014 marks completion of five years of the Development/Upgrading Infrastructure in Medical Colleges which has created some of the best equipped labs in the NER.These laboratories which are moving towards offering diagnostics specific to the NE and upgrade patient services, so that patients do not have to go outside the region for specific diagnosis& prophylaxis.

OPENING OF HEALTHCARE LABORATORIES:
At each project site infrastructure up gradation has been completed through renovation of laboratory space , installation high end equipment like RT PCR, FACS etc, and manpower training making all 21 laboratories functional with high end diagnostic capacity in the fields of :
