It has been observed that a section of students have developed a tendency to avoid examinations on the slightest pretext of illness and misusing the medical certificate as an instrument to justify. The university views this with concern and a special format of Medical Certificate has been worked out for the period of examinations to be issued by the CMO, Tezpur University. A special committee consisting of the concerned Head, concerned Course Instructor(s) and the CMO, Tezpur University shall examine all medical certificates issued by the external doctors/hospitals for consideration.
