Scope of the Conference:

The conference aims to cover theoretical and experimental studies on ion conducting materials and devices covering the following broad areas:

• Polymer electrolytes
• Ion conducting ceramics, glasses, composites, gels and nano-scale materials
• Ionic liquid-based electrolytes
• Electrochemical devices(Energy conversion/storage devices, batteries, fuel cells, sensors, display devices etc.)

Conference Sessions:

• During the conference there will be selected plenary lectures, invited lectures and contributed talks.
• There will also be poster session to promote scientific interaction.

About the Organizers:

Tezpur University, Assam is a central university established in 1994 by an act of Parliament. The objective of the university is to offer interdisciplinary courses and promote research in emerging fields of science and technology. The university runs several academic programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level and emerged as a sought after university in the country. Department of Physics is one of the most active departments in the university and runs M.Sc. and Ph.D. programmes in Physics and Nanoscience and Technology. Located in the historic city of Tezpur (Assam), the university has lush green campus equipped with all the state of the art facilities to carry out cutting edge research. Tezpur is a beautiful historic city on the bank of river Brahmaputra.

Indian Solid State Ionics Society formed in 1992 at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi is a registered society which supports the organization of the National Conference on Solid State Ionics every two years in different parts of the country.
