Class Assignments - There will be multiple class assignments during the
    entire course, each requiring about 10 minutes of work. There will be no
    prior notice for such assignments. Scores in all of these except the one
    with lowest score shall be considered. No separate consideration of any
    kind of absence shall be made.

Home Assignments - There shall be one or two home assignments of descriptive
    nature and another one or two programming exercises. These shall be
    compulsory and submitted within stipulated time (no consideration for
    absence).
