Food Fight campaign during Covid-19 in the month of July 2020 in collaboration with The EAST (a grassroot philanthropic organization at Tezpur based). The economy of this world is heading towards recession due to lockdown. All the cities, towns, transport remained closed and even the people could not move around. A very tough time for all the governments, organizations of the countries. The campaign in collaboration with The EAST started responding to the most vulnerable section like the daily wagers, elderly women, single women, domestic helpers, scheduled caste and other tribes of Assam by distributing dry ration to the needy people. Initially the distribution was started with 35 families from 8th April 2020 slowly increasing with the raise of phone calls from the needy women.
