The University General Counseling Committee in its maiden meeting held on 6th August , 2009 selected some contact persons for dealing with issues specified as follows.

                (iv)  Dr. D. K Goswami, C M O                                      Counseling for any health related problem

 

                (v)   Dr. Munmun Hazarika, Deptt. of Math. Sc     Counseling for any stress related problem

 

                (vi) Ms. Nandarani Chaudhury   ( co-opted)          Counseling for gender related issues

                Any member of the university fraternity having any kind of stress related problem may approach this committee through the contact person for the counseling Students, however, will be required to contact the contact person(s) thorough the concerned warden of the hostel.

               

                If the Head of the department observes academic or any kind of stress related problem in student(s) of his/her department and feels that the student requires counseling, he/she may refer such student directly to the committee for resolving the problem through counseling.
