DHANSIRI WOMEN'S HOSTEL
Dhansiri is the main river of Golaghat District of Assam and the Dimapur District of Nagaland. It originates from Laisang peak of Nagaland. It flows through a distance of 352 km from south to north before joining the Brahmaputra on its south bank. Its total catchment area is 1220 km². The name of the hostel was coined from this famous river of Assam.
This beautiful hostel was inaugurated by Prof P. Bhattacharyya (The Vice chancellor of Tezpur university) on 12th June,2004.
The charge of the wardenship was first assigned to Dr Sashi Baruah, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
