As part of the celebration of International Museum Day on 18 May, the Department of Cultural Studies, TU organized for school students guided visits to its departmental museums and guided tours to different Archaeological Sites of Tezpur. Around 60 students accompanied by teachers from Napaam MV School, Collegiate High School, Tezpur Govt Girls HS School, Tezpur Govt HS (boys) School participated in the event. The tour was guided by Mr. Santanu Baruah of Tezour town, and the event was coordinated by Dr. Subhra Devi, Assistant Curator of the Department.

Guided tours in the galleries of Neelpawan Baruah Museum of Modern Art, and the Cultural Interpretation Centre were conducted by Dr. Moushumi Kandali and Dr. Subhra Devi respectively.
