A one-day workshop on the Manuscript Painting Tradition of Assam has been organized in the Department of Cultural Studies on 15 March 2022. This workshop, which is meant to benefit the students and researchers of the Department, includes invited lectures from experts, namely, Chittaranjan Borah, Dr. Sanjib Pol Deka and Dr. Subhra Devi. There will also be screening of documentaries relevant to the issues of manuscript tradition and conservation in Assam.
