Message of Condolence:: Date: 26 October 2021: The students, teachers, researchers and staff of the Department of Cultural Studies, Tezpur University today assembled for a condolence meeting on the demise of Dr. Rabin Dev Choudhury on 25 October 2021.

Dr. Choudhury, a former professor of the Department, was a renowned archaeologist, art historian and museum administrator. He made unique and substantial contributions in the field of archeology and art history of Assam, and in the administration of museums in Assam and the National Museum Institute of New Delhi. His demise is an irreplaceable loss in the field of art and cultural heritage of the country.

The fraternity of the Department of Cultural Studies, TU, pray for the eternal peace of his departed soul and stand by his family in this hour of grief and loss.
