The Department of Cultural Studies organized an exhibition on the life and works of the Hungarian Orientalist Sir Marc Aurel Stein (1862-1943). The exhibition was inaugurated on 20th May, 2016, at 3:30 pm in the New HSS Complex by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Mihir Kanti Chaudhuri in the presence of Dr. Lakshmi Goswami and Smt. Minakshi Bhuyan. The exhibition remained open till 31st May, 2016
