The paper entitled “Representation of the Mother-Figure in Folk Genres of Assamese” written jointly by Debarshi Prasad Nath and Mandakini Baruah and published in Contemporary Discourse, A Peer Reviewed International Journal (ISSN 0976-3686) edited by Sudhir Nikam and Madhavi Nikam in theyear 2011 has received the Best Paper Award in 2013.
