Did B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat, Assam, (Dibrugarh University) in 1999 and completed M. Tech (Energy Technology) from Tezpur University in 2001. Before joining at Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tezpur University in June 2007, I was lecturer (Mechanical Engineering) at National Institute of Technology, Silchar, Assam. Major areas of interest are Heat and Mass Transfer, Automobile Engineering, Power Plant Engineering, Renewable Energy, and Farm & Food Processing Machinery. 

Former Positions: 

·         Served as Service & Technical Support Engineer, Piaggio Vehicle Limited (Puna) form 2002 January to December 2002.

·         Served as Senior Research Fellow (Food Processing Machinery) at Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat form 2003 January to June 2003.

·         Served as Associate Research Engineer (Design & Manufacturing) at ICAR, Shillong from 2003 July to 2004 October at National Agricultural Technology Project on Prototype Manufacturing of Agricultural Implements.

·         Served as Founder Head of Department, Automobile Engineering at Jowai Government Polytechnic, Jaintia Hill, Meghalaya under World Bank Technician Education Programme III (NPIU) form November 2004 to April 2006.

·         Served as Lecturer, Mechanical Engineering, at National Institute of Technology, Silchar, Assam from May 2006 to June 2007.
