  • Optimization/ Operations Research:

    • Classical optimization, particularly sequential linear programming methods.

    • Evolutionary algorithms (population-based nontraditional metaheuristics), like genetic algorithm (GA), differential evolution (DE) and particle swarm optimization (PSO), with particular emphasis to various single- and multi-objective combinatorial optimization problems.

    • Development and application of new algorithms to problems of different areas of Science and Technology.
