M. Tech. in Food Engineering and Technology

The M. Tech. programme in Food Engineering and Technology  is being offered by the department from August 2009. The M. Tech. programme in Food Engineering and Technology is the first of its kind offered by any university in North East India. The M. Tech. syllabus is structured to fulfill two main objectives; firstly, to generate manpower that is trained and educated in all spheres of food processing relevant to the rapidly growing food industries and secondly, to equip the graduates with skills and knowledge to succeed as entrepreneurs.

M. Tech. in Food Engineering & Technology: B. Tech./B. E. Degree in Food Tech./ Food Processing Tech./ Food Engg. & Tech. etc. or M. Sc. Degree in Food Tech./ Food Processing Tech./ Food Science & Tech./ Food Science and Nutrition etc. with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. GATE qualified candidates will get preference.

Through Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE). Notification for Admission is usually issued in February.
