Dr. Kakoty is a professor in the department of ECE, Tezpur University and leading the Embedded Systems and Robotics Laboratory (ERL). Research in ERL aims towards understanding human hand movements and manipulations using EEG/ EMG and biomimetic control through reinforcement of sensory information for development of prosthetic hands.
