About the centre

The National MEMS Design Centre (NMDC) is established as a common facility, jointly by Tezpur University and  National Program on Micro and Smart System (NPMASS), at this department in 2010. The centre is equipped with cutting edge software tool for the design or microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) provided by National Program on Micro and Smart System (NPMASS) for the benefit of the users from the region. NPMASS is funded by Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and is run by Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA).
