Apart from the central library common to the entire university, the department has a library of its own under the banner of the TUCS (Tezpur University Computer Society). Other than prescribed texts, the library stocks several books dealing with specialised topics. 14 different journals and periodicals are subscribed to to keep students and faculty updated with the latest in the IT field.

Digital Subcriptions of IEEE and ACM Journals are also available in the University.
