9^TH CONVOCATION

GUIDELINES FOR THE CANDIDATES

1. The 9^th Convocation of Tezpur University for conferring Ph. D. Degree, Postgraduate Degree and Postgraduate Diploma will be held on 12^th February, 2010 in the University campus at Napaam.
2. The academic robes/costumes will be supplied free of charge to the candidates attending the convocation from 3 PM to 5.00 PM on 10^th February, 2010 and 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on 11^th February, 2010 from the Students Activity Centre of the university. The robes/costumes will have to be returned after the convocation on the same day without fail.
3. All candidates shall be briefed about the procedures to be followed in the convocation at 10.00 AM of the previous day of the convocation.
4. Rehearsal for the convocation procedure will be done at 11.00 AM and 3.30 PM on 10^th February, 2010 and at 12.30 PM on 11^th February, 2010(dress rehearsal). All the candidates will be required to attend the rehearsal.
5. No robes / costumes will be distributed on the day of convocation.
6. All candidates will be required to arrive at the robing room at 8.30 AM on 12^th February, 2010.
7. They will assemble at a place specified for the purpose after robing on the day of convocation and shall proceed to the Convocation Hall.
