Independence Day Cycle Rally'09

         On the occasion of 62nd Independence Day, a Cycle Rally was conducted in the Tezpur University campus. With the participation of 67 candidates the event was a great success. The rally started at 6a.m from infront of the Administrative Building.
         

Trekking in Nameri Tiger Reserve

Date::1st Feb,2009
         A group of 19 students headed there way to the nameri reserve accompanied by two faculty members namely Mr. Tarun Jyoti Bora(Tourism Management) and Mr.Amio Kr. Das(Deptt. of Sociology) . It was the first ever trekking event in Tezpur University.The convoy reached Nameri by 10am and two of the forest guard accompanied the students along their way to the dense forest and explored the forest by a 6 hrs walk inside it.The convoy reached University by evening after successful completion of the trek.


         

Republic Day Cycle Rally'09

         The Republic Cycle Rally was held successfully.The event started at 6a.m with the participation of 23 candidates, the rally started from infront of the Administrative Building.
