This is for general information of all concerned that the dates for enrolment (renewal of admission) to classes/hostels for the Autumn Semester, 2014 for continuing students of all programmes of studies including those of Ph. D. programme are scheduled as follows:
30.07.2014 and 31.07.2014 without late fine
06.08.2014 with late fine
Eligible students shall follow the following procedure for enrolment cum course registration:
i) The list of the students eligible for enrolment (renewal of admission) will be sent to the concerned Heads of the Departments after the declaration of the results of the Semester End Examinations by the Controller of Examinations.
ii) Fee structures for enrolment to various programmes of studies are attached herewith
iii) Eligible students shall deposit the enrolment fee through the prescribed Bank Challan in the State Bank of India from any branch in India into the 'State Bank of India Power Jyoti Account of Tezpur University (i.e. a/c number is 31223174021) as per the following existing procedure:
1. The above Bank Account will be operative from 15 days ahead of the scheduled dates of enrolment till the mid night of the last day of enrolment (without late fine) and the account will open again during the period of enrolment with late fine. The Finance Officer will take care of the opening and closing of the account.
2. An additional amount of Rs.30/- (Rupees thirty only) shall be paid by the students/ depositors as bank charges.
3. The format of Bank Challan will be put on the website.
4. The students will collect three parts of the challan – student’s copy, academic section’s copy and finance section’s copy from the bank with seal and signature of the authorized person of the bank after depositing the fee in the account.
iv) Eligible students will collect the prescribed course registration form from the department. The students will submit the duly filled in course registration forms along with the fee paid challans (academic section’s copy and finance section’s copy) to the concerned Head of the Department on the dates specified in the Academic Calendar.
v) The concerned department will send the Academic Section’s copy of the course registration forms duly verified and signed by the Head of the Department along with the Academic section’s copy of the bank challan to the Controller of Examinations in a bunch on the same day (evening) or next day. The concerned Department will send the finance section’s copy of the bank challan to the office of the Finance Officer. The Department will retain the Department’s copy of the course registration form with them and take necessary steps for online registration of the courses.
vi) The student will submit the warden’s copy of the course registration form to the Dean, Students’ Welfare office after getting signature from the Head of the Department in the course registration form (no need to send the warden’s copy of the course registration form to the office of the Controller of Examinations).
vii) (a) If a student fails to register course / courses within the dates of registration without fine, he/ she will be required to pay the prescribed late fine of Rs 300/-.
(b) No student shall be allowed to enroll and register for courses after 06.08.2014
viii) The Head of the Departments will refer the cases of the students having withheld results and other exceptional cases of enrolment to the Controller of Examinations.
ix) The boarders of the hostels will deposit Rs,1,500/- as menial charge separately in the hostel. The concerned warden will submit the slips with a statement to the Finance section.
