ADMISSION NOTICE 2017-18

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following programmes of studies for the academic year 2017-18:

 

Category A: Admission based on online University Entrance Examinations

Programmes: (i) Integrated B.A.B.Ed. (Major in English), Integrated B.Sc.B.Ed. (Major in Chemistry/ Physics/ Mathematics), (ii) Integrated M. A. in English, Integrated M. Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Bioscience and Bioinformatics, (iii)Integrated M. Com. (iv) MCA, (v) M. A. in English, Linguistics & Language Technology, Linguistics and Endangered Languages, Cultural Studies, Sociology, Mass Communication and Journalism, Communication for Development, Hindi, Social Works, and Education (vi) M.Sc. in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Nanoscience & Technology, Environmental Science, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, (vii) M.Tech. in Information Technology, Food Engineering & Technology, Electronics Design & Technology, Bioelectronics, Energy Technology, Polymer Science & Technology, and Mechanical Engineering  (viii) M.Com. Category B: Admission based on All India Ranking (AIR) of  JEE (Main)

Programmes: B.Tech. in (i) Mechanical Engineering, (ii) Civil Engineering, (iii) Electronics and Communication Engineering, (iv)Electrical Engineering (v)Computer Science & Engineering, (vi) Food Engineering & Technology. Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of performance in the JEE (Main) to be conducted by the CBSE on 2nd April, 2017 (Pen and paper based) and 8th & 9th April, 2017 (Computer based) (for details please visit JEE website: www.jeemain.nic.in).  Approximately 60% of the total seats will be filled up by the candidates of NE states. Candidates of NE states may apply against the seats reserved for the North East (NE) states for which the candidates will be required to produce Permanent Residence certificate (PRC) issued by the competent authority of any NE state. Counseling of the shortlisted candidates will be held at Tezpur University. Admission to the remaining seats will be made through the Central Counseling conducted by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). For admission through Central Counseling no application is required to be submitted.

 

Category C: Direct Admission: (i) Candidates from NE states securing any of the top 10 positions in the Higher Secondary Board/Council Examinations of NE State with an aggregate marks of 80% or more will be directly admitted to the Integrated M.Sc. (Physics/ Mathematics/Chemistry/ Bioscience and Bioinformatics), Integrated MA in English, Integrated B.Sc.B.Ed./B.A.B.Ed, Integrated M.Com programme. (ii) Candidates from NE states securing any of the top 5 positions in the Higher Secondary Board/Council Examinations of any NE state with an aggregate marks of 85% or more will be directly admitted to B. Tech. programme. Such candidates will apply in the prescribed application form along with their rank certificates after declaration of their results. Candidates passed out from CBSE will not be eligible for the direct admission. (iii) A certain number of candidates with valid GATE score will be admitted directly to the M.Tech. programme.

 

Category D: Ph. D. programme

Offering Departments: Business Administration, Chemical Sciences, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Cultural Studies, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Energy, Environmental Science, English and Foreign Languages, Education, Food Engineering & Technology, Hindi, Mathematical Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Mass Communication and Journalism, Physics and Sociology.  Candidates will be admitted on the basis of the performance in the online test and personal interview. The online University entrance examination will be conducted in designated examination centres; however, Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted in the respective Departments.  The merit list prepared based on the entrance examination conducted in Autumn Semester, 2017 will be valid for the admission in both Autumn Semester, 2017 and Spring Semester, 2018. For Spring Semester 2018 applications will be invited from the eligible candidates with valid UGC/CSIR NET-JRF only for Personal Interview.

Self Supported Scheme (SSS): Tezpur University has a provision for admission under SSS. The waitlisted candidates on merit basis will be eligible for the admission under SSS with additional fees.  The candidate admitted under SSS will not be upgraded to normal seat even if the normal seats fall vacant after closing the admission.

2017-18 शैक्षणिक वर्ष के लिए निम्नलिखित पाठ्यक्रम में दाखिले के लिए योग्य विद्यार्थियों से निर्धारित प्र-पत्र में आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं।

 

वर्ग ए: विश्वविद्यालय ऑनलाइन प्रवेश परीक्षाओं के आधार पर दाखिला

 

पाठ्यक्रम: (i) एकीकृत बी.ए. बीएड. (मुख्य विषय अंग्रेजी), एकीकृत बी.एसी. बीएड. (मुख्य विषय रसायन विज्ञान/ भौतिकी/गणित), (ii) अंग्रेजी में एकीकृत एम.ए., भौतिकी/रसायन विज्ञान/गणित/बायोसाइंस एवं बायोइंफोर्मेंटिक्स में एकीकृत एम.एससी., (iii) एकीकृत एम.कॉम., (iv) एम.सी.ए., (v) अंग्रेजी, भाषा विज्ञान एवं भाषा प्रौद्योगिकी, भाषा विज्ञान एवं लुप्तप्राय भाषा, संस्कृति अध्ययन, समाजशास्त्र, जन संचार एवं पत्रकारिता, विकास के लिए संचार, हिंदी, समाज कार्य एवं शिक्षा में एम.ए., (vi) गणित, रसायन विज्ञान, भौतिकी, नेनोसाइंस एवं प्रौद्योगिकी, पर्यावरण विज्ञान, अणुजीव विज्ञान एवं जैव प्रौद्योगिकी में एम.एससी (vii) सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी, खाद्य अभियांत्रिकी एवं प्रौद्योगिकी, इलेक्ट्रनिक्स डिजाइन एवं टैक्नोलॉजी, बायोइलेक्ट्रनिक्स, ऊर्जा प्रौद्योगिकी, पॉलिमर विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी, और यांत्रिक अभियांत्रिकी में एम.टेक., (viii) एम.कॉम., (ix) पर्यटन एवं यात्रा प्रबंधन में स्नातकोत्तर (एमटीटीएम), (x) अनुवाद (हिंदी), महिला अध्ययन, बाल अधिकार एवं शासन में पी.जी. डिप्लोमा, (xi) खाद्य प्रसंस्करण, अक्षय ऊर्जा प्रबंधन में बी. वोक., (xii) बी.एड., (xiii)) चीनी भाषा में प्रमाण-पत्र।

 

वर्ग बी: जेईई (मेऩ) के ऑल इंडिया रैंकिंग (एआईआर) अंक के आधार पर दाखिला 

 

पाठ्यक्रम: (i) यांत्रिक अभियांत्रिकी, (ii) सिविल अभियांत्रिकी, (iii) इलेक्ट्रॉनिकी एवं संचार अभियांत्रिकी, (iv)  विद्युत अभियांत्रिकी, (v) कंप्यूटर विज्ञान एवं अभियांत्रिकी, (vi) खाद्य अभियांत्रिकी एवं प्रौद्योगिकी में बी.टेक.। विद्यार्थियों को दिनांक 2 अप्रैल, 2017 (लिखित परीक्षा आधारित) एवं 8 एवं 9 अप्रैल, 2017 (कंप्यूटर आधारित) को सीबीएसई द्वारा आयोजित जेईई (मुख्य) परीक्षा में प्रदर्शित योग्यता के आधार पर दाखिले के लिए चयनित किया जाएगा। विस्तृत जानकारी के लिए कृपया जेईई वेबसाइट: www.jeemain.nic.in  देखें। लगभग 60%  सीटों में  पूर्वोत्तर राज्य के विद्यार्थियों को दाखिला दिया जाएगा। पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के विद्यार्थियों के लिए आरक्षित सीटों पर दाखिले के लिए आवेदन करने हेतु पूर्वोत्तर के विद्यार्थियों को पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के कोई भी राज्य के सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा जारी स्थायी निवास प्रमाण-पत्र (पीआरसी) जमा करना होगा। लघु सूचीबद्ध किए गए विद्यार्थियों का काऊंसिलिंग तेजपुर विश्वविद्यालय में होगा। सेंट्रल सीट एलोकेशन बोर्ड (सीबीएसई) द्वारा आयोजित सेंट्रल काऊंसिलिंग के जरिए बाकी सीटों पर दाखिला होगा। सेंट्रल काऊंसिलिंग द्वारा दाखिला लेने के लिए अलग से आवेदन पत्र जमा करने की आवश्यक नहीं है।

 

वर्ग सी: डायरेक्ट दाखिला:  (i) पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों के उच्चत्तर माध्यमिक बोर्ड/परिषद द्वारा आयोजित परीक्षा में कुल 80%  अथवा उससे अधिक अंकों के साथ प्रथम 10 स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले विद्यार्थियों को एकीकृत एम.एससी (भौतिकी/गणित/रसायन विज्ञान/बायोसाइंस एवं बायोइंफोर्मेंटिक्स), अंग्रेजी में एकीकृत एम.ए., एकीकृत बी.एसी. बीएड./ बी.ए. बीएड., एकीकृत एम.कॉम. पाठ्यक्रम,  (ii) पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों के उच्चत्तर माध्यमिक बोर्ड/परिषद द्वारा आयोजित परीक्षा में कुल 85%  अथवा उससे अधिक अंकों के साथ प्रथम 5 स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले विद्यार्थियों को बी.टेक. पाठ्यक्रम में सीधे दाखिला दिया जाएगा। ऐसे  विद्यार्थी परीक्षा परिणाम घोषित होने के बाद रैंकिंग प्रमाण पत्र के साथ निर्धारित प्र-पत्र में दाखिले के लिए आवेदन कर सकेंगे। सीबीएसई द्वारा आयोजित परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करनेवाले विद्यार्थी सीधे दाखिले के लिए योग्य नहीं माने जाएंगे। (iii) विधिमान्य गेट अंक वाले एम.टेक. पाठ्यक्रम के आवेदक सीधे दाखिले के लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

 

वर्ग डी: पीएच.डी पाठ्यक्रम

प्रस्तावित विभाग : व्यवसाय प्रशासन, रसायन विज्ञान, सिविल अभियांत्रिकी, कंप्यूटर विज्ञान एवं अभियांत्रिकी, संस्कृति अध्ययन, इलेक्ट्रॉनिकी एवं संचार अभियांत्रिकी, ऊर्जा, पर्यावरण विज्ञान, अंग्रेजी एवं विदेशी भाषा, शिक्षा, खाद्य अभियांत्रिकी एवं प्रौद्यगिकी, हिंदी, गणित विज्ञान, यांत्रिक अभियांत्रिकी, अणुजीव विज्ञान एवं जैव प्रौद्योगिकी, जन संयोग एवं पत्रकारिता, भौतिकी एवं समाजशास्त्र। विद्यार्थियों को ऑनलाइन परीक्षा एवं व्यक्तिगत साक्षात्कार के परिणामों के आधार पर दाखिला दिया जाएगा। ऑनलाइन विश्वविद्यालय प्रवेश परीक्षा प्राधिकृत परीक्षा केंद्रों में आयोजित होने के साथ व्यक्तिगत साक्षात्कार (पीआई) निजी विभागों में आयोजित किया जाएगा। शरद सत्र, 2017 के प्रवेश परीक्षा के योग्यता सूची के चयनित उम्मीदवारों की सूची शरद सत्र, 2017 और वसंत सत्र, 2018 के लिए भी मान्य होगी। वसंत सत्र, 2018 के लिए आवेदन विधिमान्य यूजीसी/सीएसआईआर नेट-जेआरएफ वाले योग्य उम्मीदवारों से व्यक्तिगत साक्षात्कार के लिए आमंत्रित किए जाएंगे।

स्वयं समर्थित योजना (एसएसएस) :  तेजपुर विश्वविद्यालय में स्वयं समर्थित योजना के अधीन दाखिला लेने की सुविधा उपलब्ध है। स्वयं समर्थित योजना के तहत योग्यता सूची के आधार पर प्रतीक्षा सूची के आवेदक अतिरिक्त शुल्क का भुगतान कर दाखिला ले सकते हैं। दाखिला समाप्त होने के बाद सामान्य सीट खाली होने के बावजूद  भी एसएसएस के अधीन दाखिला लेनेवाले विद्यार्थी अपने सीटों को आपग्रेड नहीं कर सकेंगे।

ऑनलाइन आवेदनः इच्छुक विद्यार्थी को डेबिट कार्ड/ क्रेडिट कार्ड/ नेट बैंकिंग द्वारा @रु.700/- (अजा, अजजा एवं दिव्यांग विद्यार्थियों के लिए @रु.350/-) आवेदन शुल्क जमा कर विश्वविद्यालय के वेबसाइट www.tezu.ernet.in में ऑनलाइन माध्यम से आवेदन प्रपत्र भरना होगा।
